Powering electric outboards requires a deep cycle leisure battery/s.
The above calculations are approximate & based on a fully charged battery,
with the outboard in top speed, drawing the battery to 50% of it’s full charge.
For optimum performance & longevity deep cycle leisure batteries should not
be regularly discharged below 70% remaining charge,
although on occasion 50% is acceptable.
