Housings
These housings are manufactured
using a durable FDA grade polypropylene
Watts Pleated Cartridges
for high flow, long life,
greater sediment removal
and reduced filtration costs
These filter cartridges
outperform wound, spun,
melt blown, resin bonded
and other ”depth” type filter
elements because they are
pleated to provide increased
Surface area and longer life.
Lower pressure drop is
another significant
advantage, using Flow-Max
pleated cartridges, which
allows for increased flow
rates and the use of smaller
filter housings to reduce
capital equipment costs.
Further savings are provided because the 100% synthetic filter media is cleanable,
Five micron and up, to lower cartridge replacement costs.
Watts Pleated filter cartridges
outperform other pleated
elements because the high
performance filter media is
systematically produced using
100% synthetic fibres, with no
binders or additives to leave a
residue, foam or contaminate.
The filter media is dramatically
thicker than other products.
For this reason, Watts
cartridges provide “depth”
filtration for greater sediment
removal, along with more
surface area.
Lower pressure drop for higher flow rates
Watts cartridges are pleated, so initial pressure
drop is significantly less compared to depth cartridges,
such a wound, spun, melt blown and resin bonded.
As a result, higher flow rates are possible, reducing
filter housing size requirements to lower capital
equipment costs.

The Intelifil™ Activated Alumina Cartridges, utilizing a fine white granular media are
designed primarily to reduce fluoride levels.
Drinking water with fluoride levels above 2 mg/L can lead to mottling of the teeth.
Ongoing levels above 4 mg/L can result in serious health problems.
Interfering ions and the recommended flow rates must be specifically accounted for when
sizing these cartridges.

Flexible Extension Hose
For KDF Shower Filter
KDF55 medium consists of high purity copper-zinc granules that use redox (exchange of electrons)
to effectively reduce / remove chlorine and control microorganisms in potable water, without the
use of chemicals. KDF process media reduce hydrogen sulfide, microorganisms, lime-scale and
water-soluble heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and iron, also kills bacteria and inhibits the
growth of bacteria, algae and fungi.
Wall mounted showers - This Filter needs 3” Clearance between the centre of the shower hose and the wall - If this clearance is
Not available an extension hose can be used, this hose is also useful where the filter might otherwise interfere with mixer tap plungers
